Go Hawaii Watersports is one of Oahu's leading ocean activity companies, offering unforgettable experiences including parasailing, snorkeling, sunset cruises, fishing charters, whale watching, and ocean adventures in Waikiki. We operate multiple tourism brands, including Go Hawaii Watersports, Waikiki Parasail Hawaii, and Waikiki Turtle Snorkel, and are looking for a highly organized, tech-savvy, and growth-minded professional to help manage and optimize our digital presence and booking distribution channels.

Position Type
This is a part-time, hourly position with a very flexible schedule. Hours are not guaranteed and will fluctuate based on business needs, seasonal demand, special projects, and marketing initiatives.
Compensation is based solely on actual hours worked. The successful candidate is responsible for accurately clocking in and out, tracking time worked, and submitting approved hours to our Finance Department for payroll processing. Strong time management, accountability, and accurate reporting are essential expectations of this role.
Work Location
This position offers a flexible work arrangement and may be performed remotely for many day-to-day responsibilities. However, the successful candidate must be located on Oahu or be able to travel to our operations as needed for on-site marketing initiatives, including photo shoots, video production, content creation, meetings, events, and other promotional activities. Regular on-site availability is expected when business needs require it.
Position Overview
The Digital Marketing & Distribution Manager will oversee online booking channels, affiliate relationships, digital marketing initiatives, social media management, website content, and FareHarbor reservation system maintenance for our portfolio of tourism businesses.
This role is responsible for helping maximize online visibility, bookings, and revenue while ensuring our brands are accurately represented across all digital platforms. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, proactive, comfortable managing multiple systems, and passionate about hospitality, guest experience, and digital growth.
Key ResponsibilitiesOnline Travel Agency (OTA) & Booking Platform Management
- Manage and optimize listings across platforms including Viator, GetYourGuide, Groupon, Expedia, and other distribution partners.
- Update pricing, availability, descriptions, photography, videos, promotions, and product content.
- Monitor booking platform performance and identify opportunities to increase conversions and revenue.
- Coordinate connectivity and integrations through FareHarbor and other reservation systems.
- Ensure listing accuracy and consistency across all booking channels.
- Monitor competitor pricing, rankings, and marketplace positioning.
FareHarbor Management & Tour Development
- Troubleshoot and resolve FareHarbor issues, including OTA connectivity, product mapping, pricing discrepancies, booking errors, and availability.
- Create, update, and maintain tours, packages, schedules, seasonal offerings, waivers, add-ons, and promotional products.
- Manage affiliate settings, commissions, promo codes, booking rules, and reservation logic.
- Coordinate with FareHarbor support and third-party vendors to resolve technical issues.
- Continuously optimize the reservation system to improve operational efficiency and guest experience.
Affiliate & Partnership Management
- Coordinate affiliate onboarding and account setup.
- Maintain relationships with hotels, concierge desks, travel agents, activity desks, and tourism partners.
- Assist with partnership agreements, commission structures, and account management.
- Identify opportunities to expand strategic distribution partnerships.
Digital Marketing & Social Media (This job MAY include the following but subject to change)
- Manage social media accounts across multiple brands.
- Develop and maintain content calendars.
- Coordinate photography, video content, and promotional campaigns.
- Monitor online reviews and assist with reputation management.
- Create and schedule marketing content, promotions, and guest communications.
- Coordinate with outside designers, photographers, web developers, and marketing vendors as needed.
Website & SEO
- Update website content, promotions, landing pages, and product information.
- Assist with SEO improvements and content optimization.
- Ensure consistency across websites and booking platforms.
- Support Google Business Profile optimization and local search visibility.
Revenue & Distribution Optimization
- Assist in implementing pricing strategies and promotional campaigns.
- Analyze booking trends and OTA performance.
- Optimize listings to improve visibility, conversion rates, and guest experience.
- Identify opportunities for revenue growth across all brands and distribution channels.
Marketing Content & Brand Development
- Coordinate on-site photo and video shoots.
- Assist with content creation for advertising, social media, email marketing, and promotional campaigns.
- Help maintain consistent branding across all customer touchpoints.
Qualifications
- Experience in digital marketing, tourism, hospitality, e-commerce, OTA management, or reservation systems preferred.
- Hands-on FareHarbor experience is strongly preferred.
- Experience with platforms such as Viator, GetYourGuide, Expedia, Groupon, FareHarbor, or similar reservation systems is a strong plus.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent organizational and project management abilities.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Comfortable working independently while managing multiple priorities.
- Experience managing social media platforms and digital content.
- Familiarity with Google Business Profiles, SEO, Google Analytics, or digital advertising is a plus.
- Photography, videography, or content creation experience is a bonus but not required.
