JOB SUMMARY
Dirty Graphix is seeking a Print Production Assistant to assist with the full production and installation process of our custom heavy equipment wraps. This position involves hands-on work both in the shop and in the field. Responsibilities include preparing and templating heavy equipment, printing, laminating, and cutting graphics, and installing vinyl wraps with precision and attention to detail. The ideal candidate has prior experience in vinyl installation, large-format printing, or related production work and is eager to continue developing their skills in both areas. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Oak Park Heights, MN.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Print & Production
- Operate wide-format printers, laminators, and cutting equipment.
- Prepare printed graphics for installation.
- Maintain equipment and work areas to ensure efficiency and quality.
- Assemble, package, and prepare wrap kits for shipment.
- Assist with general shop duties such as cleaning, organizing, and basic assembly tasks.
Wrap Installation & Field Work
- Template heavy equipment models for custom wrap designs.
- Clean, prep, and prepare surfaces for wrap installation.
- Apply vinyl graphics and wraps on heavy equipment, ensuring proper alignment and finish.
- Perform final inspections and quality checks before completion.
- Travel to off-site locations for installations as needed.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Previous experience in vinyl application, print production, or similar hands-on work required
- Provide work references upon request
- Strong attention to detail, quality, and safety
- Basic computer knowledge
- Reliable, punctual, and able to follow directions and meet deadlines.
- Comfortable working in both shop and outdoor job site environments.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and perform physical tasks such as bending, climbing, and standing for extended periods
- Valid driver’s license required
- Willingness to take on additional duties such as cleaning, organizing, moving, etc.
- Experience in shipping and receiveing is not required but a strong bonus
- Experience or familiarity with heavy equipment and operating equipment is a strong bonus.
- Team-oriented with a positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills.
