Innovative Medical Practice seeking an energetic and friendly Medical Assistant with IM injections and Phlebotomy Certification. This person should be able to multi-task and be a team player.
Medical Assistant Responsibilities
- Rooming patients, obtaining vitals, and coordinating labs or blood samples.
- Administering IM injections.
- Draw blood samples.
- Providing excelling patient care.
- Answer phones and properly triage phone calls.
- Prescription refills and scheduling appointments, confirming appointments diagnostic testing and process referrals.
- Demonstrate organizational skills, excellent communication skills, and a positive attitude.
- Should be able to demonstrate the ability to function and adapt to the work environment and to utilize problem solving skills.
Key Skills
- EMR software knowledge, blood draw, calling in prescriptions, IM injections
- Required Experience and Qualifications.
- Applicant must have minimum 2 years of experience in a medical office as a Medical Assistant - ambulatory setting is preferable.
- Having Phlebotomy license.
- Certification in IM injections.
- Must have high school diploma.
- Certified Medical Assistant completion certificate.

Pay: $21.00 - $25.00 per hour
