Industrial Sales Specialist – Growth-Focused, High-Performance Role
Position Overview
We are seeking a driven, results-oriented Sales Associate who thrives on winning new business, building strategic relationships, and exceeding aggressive sales targets. This role blends technical expertise with a hunter mentality. You will play a critical role in expanding market share, generating revenue, and positioning our engineered solutions as the clear choice in the industry.
This position operates in a professional, fast-paced office environment supporting customers, sales operations, and internal departments. The role is primarily desk-based and requires extensive use of computers, phones, CRM systems, ERP software, and other standard office equipment.
Regularly communicates with customers, engineers, vendors, and internal teams to review specifications, prepare quotes, answer technical questions, and coordinate order details. The environment is collaborative and deadline-driven, requiring strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Compensation Structure
Hourly rate of $25–$29 per hour, depending on experience, plus a performance-based commission/bonus structure after probationary period is completed.
Duties & Responsibilities
· Learn the technical details concerning how our software works and what problems it solves for our clients
· Prepare and deliver technical presentations explaining products or services to customers and prospective customers
· Collaborate with sales teams to understand customer requirements and provide sales support
· Establish new accounts by identifying potential customers; planning and organizing sales call schedule.
· Prepares cost estimates by studying blueprints, plans, and related customer documents; consulting with engineers, architects, and other professional and technical personnel.
· Secure and renew orders and arrange delivery
· Plan and modify products to meet customer needs
· Help clients solve problems with installed equipment
· Recommend improved materials to customers, showing how changes will lower costs or increase production
· Help in researching and developing new products
· Manage customer relations by soliciting and logging client feedback and evaluating the data we receive through digital channels
· Achieve sales goals and quotas on a monthly, quarterly and yearly basis
· Design tooling for production,
Required Skills, Education, Training, & Experience
· Knowledge of expansion joint manufacturing preferred
· Knowledge of ASME desired
· Must be able to travel if necessary
· Previous sales experience required
· Able to maintain/multitask multiple projects simultaneously
· Excellent communication skills
· Familiarity with project management solutions a plus
Physical Requirements
· Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
· Frequent standing, walking, bending, kneeling, squatting, and reaching
· Ability to work in hot and cold environments
