Hotel Indigo Tulsa Downtown has 2 immediate openings for Breakfast Line Cook as follows
-PART TIME: Friday, Saturday and Sunday 5:30AM-NOON.
-FULL TIME : Thursday-Monday 5:30AM-NOON
You will be responsible for preparing, cooking, and presenting dishes according to recipes and quality standards, while also maintaining a clean and efficient kitchen environment while handling breakfast items. Ensuring timely service and high-quality food for guests.
Must be able to pass a background check.
Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have experience in the food industry. As a Cook, you will play a crucial role in preparing high-quality breakfast items while adhering to food safety standards and ensuring a positive experience for our guests.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to established recipes and guidelines.
- Ensure all food handling procedures comply with food safety regulations.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including proper storage of ingredients and equipment.
- Utilize kitchen tools and equipment safely, including knives and cooking appliances.
- Monitor inventory levels of food supplies and assist with ordering as needed.
- Participate in training sessions to enhance culinary skills and knowledge of food safety practices.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a kitchen environment, preferably within the food industry.
- Knowledge of food handling techniques and safety regulations.
- Familiarity with various cooking methods.
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
- Certification in food safety or culinary arts is a plus but not required.
