American Traveler is hiring a Travel RN for a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) position on night shift, requiring 1 year of recent PCU experience and an active TX or compact RN license.

Work in the Progressive Care Unit (PCU) of a hospital treating a mix of medical patients
-
12-bed unit with a 4:1 patient ratio
-
Night shift ideal staffing includes 1 charge nurse, 3 RNs, and 1-2 PCTs
-
Uses Meditech EMR
-
Night shift schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
-
No on-call requirements
-
Floating required as part of unit rotation
-
13-week assignment
-
Active RN license (Texas or Compact) currently in hand

Current BLS certification (AHA or ARC accepted)

NIH Stroke Certification required for PCU

Minimum 1 year of recent PCU experience required
-
No certifications expiring within the first 30 days of assignment start

No employment gaps of 90 days or more within the past 12 months

Provide nursing care to a mixed medical PCU patient population

Team environment with an emphasis on teamwork and a positive attitude

Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility to be eligible for this position
