Cetera Financial Group is seeking a dynamic and driven professional to join our Business Development team. As New Entrant Program Recruiter, you will play a pivotal role in attracting and recruiting independent, growth-oriented Financial Professionals to Cetera’s network of Broker Dealers. You’ll serve as the first point of contact for prospects, articulating the value of our business model and positioning Cetera as the wealth management firm of choice. In this role, you’ll collaborate closely with field Advisory Recruiters and cross-functional teams to generate leads, manage recruitment pipelines, and support firm leadership through the development of scalable programs and support materials. Your efforts will directly contribute to the success of our recruitment strategy and the growth of our advisor community. Primary location of focus will be Dallas, TX and will consider qualifying candidates in St. Paul, MN area.
What you will do:
Support External Recruiters through a defined service level that includes: consultation, consistent communication, tracking recruiting pipeline, maintaining candidate profiles, MarketPro information and field visits.
Track candidate progress through the Business Development pipeline using tools such as Salesforce and Microsoft Excel.
Develop, lead and manage targeted recruiting campaigns within assigned territories in partnership with Advisory Recruiters.
Serve as the initial point of contact for prospective new entrant financial professionals, clearly communicating CFG’s business model, community value propositions and the benefits of affiliation.
Evaluate candidates fit for CFG channels and communities using insights from their book of business, conversations, and publicly available information through meetings and one on one discussions.
Consult with External Recruiters to develop and maintain roadmaps/playbooks documenting best practices of an effective recruiting process.
Partner with Demand Center and experienced advisor recruiting colleagues to support lead generation efforts and work cross-functionally to drive solution development and execution.
Create and maintain engaging sales enablement materials that effectively convey CFG’s story and brand.
Develop virtual and in-person experiences to improve New Entrant recruiting effectiveness through one-on-one coaching, best practice sharing, and large group discussions.
What you will need to have:
Effective communication and presentation techniques.
Proactive outreach mindset with strong initiative in building connections through outreach
Strong working knowledge of Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Salesforce, and Outlook.
Understanding of recruiting and sales techniques.
Demonstrated ability to organize, plan, and prioritize a variety of assignments.
What is nice to have:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, Economics, or related field of study and/or equivalent experience
3+ years related work experience within financial services
3+ years of experience within a recruiting or sales environment
Travel: Up to (25%)
Compensation: The salary range for this role is $100,000-$120,000 base, plus competitive performance-based variable compensation package. Compensation packages are based on a wide array of factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, years and depth of experience, certifications, and specific office location. Compensation ranges may differ in differing locations due to cost of labor considerations.
