About the Role:
The 2nd Shift Robotic Welder is responsible for operating and maintaining robotic welding systems to produce high-quality metal components in a manufacturing environment. This role focuses on automated welding processes, equipment setup, and quality control while supporting production goals during second shift operations.
Responsibilities:

Operate robotic welding equipment to perform MIG and automated welds on metal components

Set up, program, and adjust robotic weld parameters to meet production specifications

Inspect welded parts to ensure quality standards and tolerances are met

Troubleshoot welding equipment and resolve minor mechanical or programming issues

Load and unload materials and maintain consistent production flow

Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of welding equipment

Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean work environment
Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent

Experience with robotic welding, MIG welding, or automated manufacturing equipment

Ability to read blueprints and welding symbols

Knowledge of welding processes, materials, and quality inspection methods

Basic troubleshooting and mechanical aptitude

Ability to work second shift and meet production demands
Desired Qualifications:

Experience with robotic programming systems such as Fanuc or ABB

Welding certification or technical training

Experience in a high-volume manufacturing environment

Familiarity with lean manufacturing or continuous improvement practices
