About Us Helfen Company is a founder-operated e-commerce business behind two fashion accessory brands — Archer Watch Straps and Downholme. We sell on Amazon and Shopify across the US, UK, EU, and Canada, managing the full operation as a lean two-person team. Over a million products sold, years of sustained growth, and a lot of room to build.
ContextCurrently, one owner runs most day-to-day operations — coordinating with suppliers, 3PLs, and freight forwarders, managing Amazon account health across multiple markets, and handling compliance paperwork. We're looking for someone who can take real ownership of this side of the business, freeing up the owner's time to focus on new initiatives.
What makes this role different from a typical operations position is that we also want someone who can build automation. We've made progress using AI coding tools to automate some of the repetitive tasks that keep the business running — built by our co-founder who would describe himself as a non-coder figuring it out. If you already understand e-commerce operations and also know how to automate your own workflows, you'll be able to take what we've started much further. Real software engineering experience is a strong plus — not required, but useful if you have it.
The Role This is a hands-on operations position with a technical edge. You'll need to learn our existing processes well enough to execute them yourself, and from there, identify where automation can save time. Then regularly operate the process — and document it clearly enough that someone else could pick it up as team dynamics change.
Right now, logistics takes up the largest share of time in the business — creating purchase orders from inventory projections, tracking shipments, coordinating inventory transfers between warehouses, and reconciling what's received against what was ordered. Much of this is still done by hand across spreadsheets, an inventory management platform, and warehouse portals. This is the clearest opportunity for automation, and successfully reducing the time it takes is one of the most direct ways you'll make an impact here.
Beyond logistics, you'll manage Amazon account health across our international marketplaces — responding to sporadic listing issues, variation errors, and Amazon compliance cases.
What You'll Do
- Own the replenishment cycle — creating purchase orders, tracking shipments, and coordinating inventory transfers across warehouses and 3PLs
- Manage Amazon account health — listing issues, variation errors, and compliance cases across international marketplaces
- Identify repetitive manual processes and build automations to handle them, especially around inventory, shipping, and marketplace data
- Document processes so any critical task can be reliably handed off
What We're Looking For
- Real experience in e-commerce operations — Amazon Seller Central, Shopify, 3PLs, inventory management
- Comfort with AI coding tools and automation pathways
- Comfort working with data across spreadsheets and connecting systems via APIs
- US time zone required, US-based preferred
What We Value We manage hundreds of SKUs across multiple markets, so you'll need a keen eye for detail to catch errors before they become customer-facing problems. You seek clarity before you build — asking questions freely and confirming understanding. You're honest about what you know and don't know. You are comfortable solving operational problems but also keeping a complex system running smoothly.

Please Include With Your ApplicationBriefly describe your experience with e-commerce operations (Amazon, Shopify, logistics, or similar), and separately, describe something you've automated — a script, tool, or workflow — and what problem it solved.
