Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Journeyman Plumber or Master Plumber to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems across residential, commercial, and industrial projects. Your expertise will ensure that all plumbing work complies with local building codes, safety regulations, and project specifications. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse construction sites, utilizing your mechanical knowledge and hands-on skills to deliver high-quality results efficiently and safely.
Duties
- Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems including pipes, fixtures, gas piping systems, and drainage solutions in accordance with construction plans and schematics.
- Read blueprints and schematics accurately to determine the layout of plumbing systems on various construction sites.
- Use hand tools, power tools, pipe threading equipment, welding techniques, and heavy lifting to execute plumbing tasks effectively.
- Ensure all work adheres to local building codes, plumbing building codes, and safety regulations throughout every phase of construction or repair.
- Perform maintenance, repair, and operations (MRO) tasks on existing plumbing systems to prevent issues and ensure optimal functionality.
- Collaborate with construction teams, carpenters, HVAC technicians, and other trades to coordinate installation processes and resolve technical challenges.
- Conduct system testing for leaks or failures; troubleshoot issues using schematics and mechanical knowledge; document work performed for compliance purposes.
- Maintain a safe work environment by following all safety regulations; participate in safety meetings; utilize proper personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Assist in remodeling projects or tasks as needed; support the team with assembly or additional construction duties requiring plumbing expertise.

Requirements
- Valid Journeyman or Master Plumber license recognized by the state or local authorities.
- Proven construction site experience with residential and commercial plumbing projects.
- Strong knowledge of plumbing system maintenance, repair techniques, and building code compliance.
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, construction plans, and technical drawings accurately.
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, pipe threading machines, welding equipment, and other related tools.
- Experience working with gas piping systems and pipe installation methods in various environments.
- Mechanical aptitude combined with basic math skills for measurements and calculations.
- Familiarity with safety regulations related to plumbing work on construction sites; commitment to maintaining a safe workspace.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely; experience with HVAC systems is a plus but not required.
- Valid driver’s license for commercial driving if required; experience with construction driving preferred.
- Excellent customer service skills when interacting with clients or project managers during service calls or installations.
