About the Role:
Join Connect Staffing Agency of Georgia as a Tufting Machine Operator in Dalton, GA! This exciting position offers you the opportunity to work with cutting-edge machinery in a dynamic environment, where your skills will contribute to the production of high-quality textiles.
Shift:
Monday - Thursday
6:00 PM - 6:00 AM
(some Fridays required depending on production/orders)
Responsibilities:
- Operate tufting machines to produce carpets and rugs with precision.
- Monitor machine performance and make adjustments as necessary for optimal output.
- Conduct quality checks on finished products to ensure adherence to specifications.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and efficiency.
- Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot and resolve any machine issues.
- Adhere to production schedules and meet daily output targets.
- Follow safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
- Document production data and report any discrepancies to supervisors.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical training in machinery operation preferred.
- Previous experience operating tufting machines
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet production goals.
- Basic mechanical skills for troubleshooting and maintenance tasks.
- Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented attitude.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including overtime if needed.
- Must be able to lift and move heavy materials as required.
