About Us
NextDoor Home Health is a growing home health agency serving veterans, Department of Labor (EEOICPA) beneficiaries, and private-pay clients throughout New Mexico. We are seeking a compassionate Registered Nurse to provide skilled nursing services to patients receiving care under the Department of Labor program.
This position offers the opportunity to build meaningful relationships with patients while maintaining a flexible schedule and a high degree of professional autonomy.
Responsibilities
- Conduct skilled nursing visits in patients' homes
- Complete initial and ongoing nursing assessments
- Develop and update individualized care plans
- Perform medication management and education
- Monitor patient conditions and communicate changes
- Coordinate care with physicians, caregivers, and agency staff
- Complete documentation accurately and timely
- Participate in case conferences as needed
Qualifications
- Current New Mexico RN license in good standing
- Minimum one year of nursing experience
- Home health experience preferred
- Knowledge of Medicare and/or Department of Labor programs preferred
- Current CPR certification
- Reliable transportation and valid driver's license
- Ability to travel throughout Northern New Mexico, including Dixon and surrounding rural communities
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
