Responsibilities:
* Perform dental cleanings, including scaling and root planning to remove plaque and tartar build up
* Conduct patient assessments by reviewing medical history, vital signs, and current oral health status
*Educate patients on proper dental care techniques, including brushing, flossing, and preventative practices.
* Follow infection prevention management protocols, including aseptic technique and infection control standards aligned with healthcare regulations like HIPAA
* Review medical records for completeness and accuracy, ensuring compliance with confidentiality policies
* Monitor and operate dental equipment safely while adhering to sterilization procedures to prevent cross-contamination
Skills:
* Excellent clinical skills for dental diagnosis, scaling and root planning
* Strong knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, and medical terminology
* Understanding of healthcare infection prevention and control measure, including aseptic
techniques and sterilization protocols
*Excellent client communication skills to educate patients clearly about dental health practices
* Commitment to HIPAA compliance and maintaining patient confidentiality at all times
Pay: $60.00 - $64.00 per hour
License/Certification:
