We are looking for someone who thrives in a supportive environment and is eager to contribute to a culture of care and excellence. We offer Deep Tissue, Swedish, Ashiatsu, Thai and Reiki. Experience in at least 2 modalities, preferred.
What you’ll do
- Deliver personalized massage therapy sessions tailored to individual client needs, utilizing techniques such as deep tissue massage and trigger point therapy.
- Conduct thorough patient assessments to understand their health history, pain levels, and specific concerns.
- Implement effective pain management strategies through targeted massage techniques and client education.
- Maintain accurate records of client treatments, progress, and feedback to ensure continuity of care.
- Provide outstanding customer service by creating a welcoming atmosphere and addressing client inquiries with professionalism.
- Stay informed about anatomy knowledge, physiology, and medical terminology to enhance treatment effectiveness.
- Collaborate with other health professionals within the spa environment to promote holistic wellness approaches.
- Uphold high standards of hygiene and safety protocols in accordance with occupational health guidelines.
Basic qualifications
- Valid state license as a Massage Therapist.
- Strong knowledge of human anatomy and physiology.
Preferred qualifications
- Experience in spa settings or similar environments.
- Proficiency in various massage modalities including deep tissue and swedish massage.
- Experience in Thai & Ashiatsu massage, a plus.
- Willing to work at least 1 night and 1 weekend day.
- Excellent patient service skills with a focus on empathy and understanding.
- Familiarity with medical terminology related to massage therapy practices.
