Job Overview
We are seeking a passionate and energetic, Christian Preschool Lead Teacher to inspire young learners and foster a nurturing, engaging classroom environment. As a key leader in early childhood education, you will design and implement developmentally appropriate curriculum, manage classroom activities, and collaborate with families to support each child's growth. Your enthusiasm and expertise will help create a vibrant learning space where children feel safe, valued, and excited to explore the world around them. We follow the CMCSS, so we close for the summer.
Duties
- Develop and execute dynamic lesson plans aligned with early childhood education pertaining to Play Base.
- Lead daily classroom activities that promote curiosity, creativity, and social development among preschool-aged children.
- Manage classroom behavior through positive reinforcement strategies and effective behavior management techniques.
- Collaborate with families to communicate children's progress, address concerns, and support home learning initiatives.
- Oversee classroom organization, ensuring safety protocols are followed and materials are prepared for engaging lessons.
- Support children’s developmental milestones in areas such as childhood development, toddler care, and special education needs.
Qualifications
- Proven experience working with children in preschool or daycare settings; prior classroom management experience is essential.
- Strong knowledge of early childhood education principles, curriculum development, and lesson planning.
- Familiarity with special education practices, early intervention programs, and literacy education techniques.
- Demonstrated ability to manage a classroom effectively while fostering a positive learning environment.
- Excellent communication skills for engaging with children, parents, and team members.
- Certification or experience in early childhood education or equivalent preferred but not mandatory.
