Summary
Assists members of the Insurance Operations Department by completing a wide variety of assignments that involve technical complexity. Demonstrates a solid understanding of procedures and ability to produce timely high quality work.
What You'll Do
In this role, you’ll gain experience across a variety of responsibilities, including:

Analyze and maintain data related to accounts, claims, and trends

Support day-to-day claims processing (data entry, documentation, tracking incidents, etc.)

Review legal and business documents such as pleadings, invoices, and reports
-
Assist with claim investigations, research, and documentation
-
Draft professional communications, including investigation letters and claim summaries
-
Help prepare reports for management, leadership, and stakeholders
-
Conduct research (corporate, legal, industry-related) using tools like Westlaw and PACER
-
Collaborate with internal teams and external partners, including legal counsel
-
Assist in managing litigation activities, tracking deadlines, and coordinating documentation
-
Support discovery processes, document collection, and e-discovery efforts
-
Help organize and maintain case files, databases, and reporting tools
-
Participate in projects, process improvements, and team initiatives

Complete familiarity with the attorney/client privilege, work product doctrine and other doctrines/privileges that protect attorney client material from disclosure as well as strategies to ensure protections are in place and maintained.
Experience

Recent graduates are strongly encouraged to apply

0–1+ years of professional or internship experience (customer service, legal, or business-related experience is a plus)

Associate’s degree, Paralegal certification, or relevant educational background preferred
Required Education

Associate's Degree, Paralegal Certification from an ABA approved program or relevant work experience.
