As a Host / Hostess, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, providing a warm and welcoming atmosphere from the moment they arrive. Job Description
· Responsible for general front-of-house hosting/management/overseeing.
· Serve as the liaison between the customers, staff, and company to ensure satisfaction at all levels.
· Take part in reservation management planning and execute accordingly.
· Greet guests in a warm and friendly manner and put them on a waiting list as necessary.
· Seat guests at tables.
· Assign guests to tables they prefer, while keeping table rotation in mind so that servers receive the right number of customers.
· Respond to complaints and help to resolve them.
· Answer phone calls, make reservations, and answer questions they may have.
· Responsible for providing outstanding customer service from the minute they first arrive.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years Host/hostess experience
- Food service background
- Strong customer service skills
- Previous restaurant experience
- Excellent communication skills
- Familiarity with POS systems
- Knowledge of Aloha POS and Micros POS
- Experience in a hotel setting
- Ability to provide exceptional guest services
- Proficiency in serving and hospitality
- Strong phone etiquette and guest relations skills
