The Student and Family Engagement Coordinator supports district-wide efforts to strengthen meaningful, consistent, and high-impact engagement between schools, students, families, and the broader community. This role supports the development of staff capacity to build strong relationships, remove barriers to participation, and ensure that all students and families are actively connected to learning opportunities and school life.
Because engagement influences every aspect of the district, from academics and attendance to behavior and culture, the Student and Family Engagement Coordinator collaborates with administrators, teachers, support staff, and community partners to create welcoming, responsive, and coordinated systems that promote student success.
Essential Functions:
Research, design, and implement evidence-based strategies that strengthen family partnerships, student voice, and community collaboration.
Support school-based decision-making processes, including family engagement in budgeting, staffing, student leadership, discipline systems, and program development.
