Job Overview
AAA Asset Recovery is seeking a dependable and hardworking Bilingual Yard Technician / Vehicle Release Coordinator to assist with daily lot operations. This position is responsible for photographing vehicles, securing and inventorying personal property, assisting customers during redemption and personal property appointments, maintaining yard organization, and ensuring all company procedures are followed.
The ideal candidate must be fluent in English and Spanish, have strong customer service skills, and be comfortable working outdoors in a fast-paced environment.
Duties
- Take detailed photographs of vehicles upon arrival, storage, and release.
- Inventory, secure, and document personal property found inside recovered vehicles.
- Assist customers during vehicle redemption appointments.
- Assist customers during personal property retrieval appointments.
- Verify identification and required documentation during releases.
- Clean out and organize vehicles in accordance with company policies and client requirements.
- Maintain accurate records and notes within company systems.
- Ensure vehicles are properly tagged, secured, and stored within the lot.
- Assist with vehicle inspections and condition reports.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the storage yard and office areas.
- Communicate professionally with customers, lenders, banks, lien holders, and company staff.
- Assist drivers and office personnel with operational needs.
- Report vehicle damage, safety concerns, or discrepancies to management immediately.
- Follow all company, client, and regulatory requirements regarding vehicle handling and personal property.
Qualifications
- Fluent in English and Spanish (verbal communication required).
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous towing, repossession, automotive, impound, warehouse, or yard experience preferred.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Basic computer and smartphone skills.
- Excellent customer service and communication abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask.
Qualifications
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record preferred.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Ability to walk, stand, bend, and perform physical labor throughout the day.
- Reliable transportation and punctual attendance.
- Must be professional when interacting with customers and clients.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive customer information.
- Repossession industry experience.
- Vehicle inventory and condition reporting.

Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour
Work Location: In person
