Wild Poppy Salon is a new boutique salon in downtown Lafayette, Co that is growing at a fast pace. We are a small 4 chair salon that values a peaceful work environment and relaxing atmosphere for our clients. We are seeking a talented and experienced Senior Hair Stylist with an existing clientele to join our salon team. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for craft hairdressing, exceptional customer service skills, and a comprehensive understanding of current trends and techniques. As a Senior Hair Stylist, you will provide expert hair cutting, coloring, and treatment services, contributing to the overall success of the salon. Duties
- Perform a wide range of hair services including cutting, coloring, and styling.
- Utilize salon software such as Vagaro for appointment scheduling, client management, and retail sales tracking
- Provide personalized consultations to recommend suitable styles, colors, and treatments based on client preferences and hair type
- Maintain high standards of sanitation and cleanliness in accordance with industry regulations
- Manage front desk responsibilities including greeting clients, scheduling appointments, and processing payments.
Experience
- Minimum of 5 years experience in a salon environment.
- Proof of continued education in the industry.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to connect with clients and team members effectively.
- Prior experience mentoring or training junior staff is preferred but not required

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $60,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
