Overview
We are currently hiring independent Delivery Drivers to join our team servicing routes with OnTrac in Jacksonville, FL. We are especially looking for part time hires who are available to work mostly weekends consistently . This is a great opportunity for individuals who prefer working independently, staying active, and having control over how much they earn.
Drivers will use their own vehicle (cargo van, transit van, or larger SUV preferred) to deliver packages along assigned routes. The more deliveries you take on, the more you earn — making this a strong opportunity for motivated individuals looking to maximize their income.
This is a morning-based position. Drivers must arrive at the warehouse no later than 8:30 AM to load their vehicles, with earlier arrival (6:00 AM – 7:30 AM) highly recommended to start routes sooner and finish earlier in the day. Once your deliveries are complete, your day is done — giving you the rest of your day free.
No prior delivery experience is required, but is strongly preferred. We provide a simple onboarding process so you can get started quickly.
We are looking for reliable, self-motivated individuals who are ready to work and start immediately. Flexible opportunities are available, with weekly pay based on delivery volume, and potentially same day payout for weekend workers.
Responsibilities:
- Use a mobile app to navigate routes and complete deliveries.
- Safely operate personal vehicle to deliver packages
- Plan and follow efficient delivery routes
- Strong ability to drive safely and efficiently in various traffic conditions
- Handle packages with care to prevent damage
- Perform basic vehicle safety checks before and after routes.
- Follow all traffic laws and company policies.
- Communicate if any delivery issues or delays occur.

Skills and qualifications :
- Must be at least 21 years old
- Valid driver's license
- Clean driving record
- Ability to lift and carry packages as needed ( at least 40 lbs)
- Strong customer service skills
- Route planning & GPS navigation
- Communication skills
- Reliability & Profesionalism
- Owns or has access to their own cargo van or transit van ( preferred)
- Time management !
