Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and strategic General Manager to lead our retail operations with energy and enthusiasm. Responsibilities
- Lead daily store operations, including sales management, inventory control, and staff supervision to ensure smooth and efficient business flow.
- Develop and implement strategies to increase retail sales, improve customer satisfaction, and enhance overall store performance.
- Recruit, interview, train, and develop team members to build a high-performing retail sales team aligned with company standards.
- Manage payroll, budgeting, purchasing, pricing, and bookkeeping activities to maintain financial health and operational efficiency.
- Oversee merchandising, stock management, POS (Point of Sale) systems, and inventory management to optimize product presentation and availability.
- Supervise shift management, cashiering operations, customer service standards, and employee orientation programs to ensure consistent excellence.
- Utilize strong communication skills to foster team collaboration, manage managerial communication effectively, and uphold organizational policies.
Experience
- Proven managerial experience in retail store management or similar leadership roles within the retail industry.
- Demonstrated success in supervising teams with strong skills in employee orientation, training & development, and performance management.
- Extensive knowledge of retail sales techniques, inventory management systems (POS systems), pricing strategies, and operational procedures.
- Experience in recruiting top talent through interviewing processes and managing onboarding programs.
- Strong background in budgeting, payroll processing, bookkeeping, cash handling, and inventory control.
- Multilingual or bilingual abilities are preferred to serve diverse customer bases effectively.
- Excellent organizational skills combined with time management expertise to handle multiple priorities efficiently.
