We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to patient care and have the necessary skills to provide high-quality nursing support in various settings, including medical-surgical, urgent care, and operating room environments. As an LPN/RN you will play a vital role in patient assessment, treatment, and education while working collaboratively with healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and record vital signs of patients, ensuring accurate documentation.
- Assist in discharge planning by educating patients and families on post-care instructions.
- Administer injections and medications as prescribed by physicians.
- Conduct sonography procedures as required for patient assessments.
- Support patients in urgent care situations by providing timely interventions.
- Collaborate with registered nurses and other healthcare staff to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients, adhering to infection control protocols.
- Participate in ongoing education and training to enhance nursing skills and knowledge.
- Also seeking LPN supervisors, pay up to $40/hr
Requirements
- Valid LPN /RN license in the state of practice.
- Strong knowledge of medical-surgical nursing principles.
- Experience administering injections is preferred.
- Familiarity with discharge planning processes is a plus.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.
- Ability to work effectively in high-pressure environments such as urgent care or operating rooms.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well within a team setting.
- A compassionate approach towards patient care with a focus on maintaining dignity and respect.
