Overview
Ideal candidate(s) should be computer literate, perform routine and preventative
maintenance to maintain and improve the physical integrity of the property. They
are responsible for providing excellent customer service and prospective
residents by making home and building maintenance repairs as well as providing
the general upkeep of the community including its grounds, streets facilities and
equipment.
Job Duties
Inspect all LTO homes and Rental homes on a routine basis.
Complete minor repairs to homes and facilities.
Provide seasonal lawn care including weed whipping, raking of leaves,
trimming shrubs, treating for weeds and other services needed.
Provide seasonal snow removal services including removing snow from
community streets, parking lots, building entrances and other areas
needed.
remove trash cans in common areas and dispose of trash as needed.
Clean community common areas and work spaces including clubhouse,
community office, restrooms, and maintenance garage.
Inspect common area amenities including beach, lake, park, RV lot, and
other recreational equipment to ensure proper operation and make repairs
as needed.
Perform duties relating to well-water system and sewer system or water
meters including water testing and reading, repairing and installing water
meters.
Assist community manager with supervising onsite contracted work.
Follow safety regulations and procedures including safety operating
vehicles and machinery.
Other duties and projects as assigned.
Requirements
As a Maintenance Technician, you must me dependable hard worker with a
strong desire to provide excellent customer service. Good organizational skills,
the ability to manage multiple projects at once and a detail-oriented attitude are
necessary for this position.
High school diploma or GED
Valid driver’s license and good driving record
broad experience of general maintenance techniques and repair work
Proficient in operating equipment including hand tools, power tools and
commercial machinery
Ability to work outdoors year round
Strong customer service skills
Good problem-solving skills
Ability to create legible written reporting and not taking
Able to pass a drug screen
Able to work independently as well as part of a team
Availability to work an on-call as needed during non-business hours
General Hours will be Monday- Friday 8:30 am - 5:00 pm.
