Descriptive Summary
The ASR works closely with the CL account manager to ensure administrative processing duties are completed within agency standards and procedures. Administrative processing duties include policy change requests, proof of insurance, endorsements, cancellations, audits, agency bill invoicing, initial checking of policies, and preparation of policies for delivery to the customer. The ASR also assists the account manager with ordering loss runs, creating marketing folders, and other tasks.
Key stakeholders include the account manager, producers, and customers.
Key Accountabilities
Support account managers and producers by ensuring a quality work product and delivering and exceptional custoper experience while maimizing productivity.
- Prioritize tasks, be attentive to detail, achieve service standards and meet deadlines based on agency service standard timelines.
- Engage with account managers as needed to complete complex tasks.
- Build and maintain effective and collaborative relationships to identify and improve work processes.
Proactively perform core ASR duties with consistency and timeliness.
- Reveiw change requests and proof of insurance to ensure information is correct and complete.
- Ensure timely processing of policy change requests, proof of insurance, cancellations, and audits and creation of control documents for scanning and attaching in AccuraImage.
- Ensure all policies and endorsements are accurate, request corrections as needed, and file and forward to the customer as appropriate in a timely manner.
- Perform initial checks of all new business and renewal policies and endorsements.
Ensure extraordinary customer satisfaction and maximum company-wide efficiency.
- Take initiative and strive to perform beyond VTC stakeholder expectations.
- Foster effective working relationships within the team, with producers, and across agency locations.
Ensure all procedures and processes are followed.
- Maintain compliance with all company policies.
- Secure and properly handle all private and sensitive agency and customer information (medical, SSN, drivers' licenses, financials, etc.).
- Perform data entry functions and ensure accuracy of the agency management system and/or specific rating and underwriting systems.
- Inpute data schedules or import/export data schedules in agency management systems.
Perform receptionist duties on site when necessary.
Pursue a development program for professional and personal growth.
Experience & Qualifications:
- Insurance knowledge preferred.
- Excellent organization, planning, and prioritization skills.
- High level of computer proficiency.
- Work equally well independently and as a team.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and judgment skills.
- Self-starter and results-oriented team player with a constant focus on improving processes.
- Ability to work efficiently with little direction in a fast-paced environment.
- Working knowledge of AMS360 account management system is preferred.
Pay: $40,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
