The Heights Specialty Care is an RN-run Adult Family Home in Vancouver, Washington, caring for up to six residents. We are growing our team and are looking for compassionate, dependable caregivers who take pride in providing high-quality, person-centered care.
We specialize in supporting residents with dementia and mental health needs, and we value patience, consistency, good communication, and a genuine desire to make a difference.

Duties
- Assist patients with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility to promote independence and dignity.
- Help with meal planning and preparation
- Perform light housekeeping tasks such as laundry and tidying up
- Monitor vital signs including blood pressure, pulse, respiration, and temperature; and document findings.
- Support medication administration under supervision, ensuring proper handling and adherence to safety protocols.
- Use patient transfer methods such as Sit to Stand and manual handling techniques to ensure safe movement and prevent injury.
- Provide specialized care for individuals with dementia or Alzheimer’s disease, including memory care strategies and behavioral health support.
Requirements
- Valid Washington State Home Care Aid (HCA) , Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), or Nursing Assistant Registered (NAR) certification with active status; previous experience as a caregiver or nursing assistant preferred but not required.
- Current CPR/First Aid certification, Nurse Delegation, Diabetes Delegation, Mental Health and Dementia Training, and Food Handlers permit.
- Eligible to pass Washington State background check requirements
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
- Dependable, compassionate, and able to work independently
Pay: $19.00 - $25.00 per hour
