Job Overview
Balian Springs is seeking an experienced, passionate, and results-driven Kitchen Manager to lead our entire Culinary and Food & Beverage team. This leadership role is responsible for overseeing all aspects of Kitchen and Food & Beverage operations, including menu development, seasonal Food & Beverage promotion, food production and quality control, inventory management, cost control, and team leadership.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in culinary and Food & Beverage management, with a proven ability to create exceptional dining experiences while maintaining the highest standards of food safety, sanitation, and operational efficiency. This individual will work closely with leadership to develop innovative menus, optimize kitchen performance, and foster a positive, collaborative culture that supports both employee success and guest satisfaction.

Responsibilities
- Oversee daily Kitchen and Food and Beverage operations and ensure efficient food production processes and services
- Develop and execute menus that reflect current culinary, beverage trends and dietary needs
- Supervise entire Food and Beverage department colleagues, providing necessary training and support to foster a collaborative team environment
- Manage cost control by efficient inventory control, including ordering supplies and waste management
- Place the order based on inventory and forecasting business level
- Receive delivery, verify the quantity and quality
- Ensure profitable and productive operation in Food and Beverage Department
- Maintain the positive vender relationship with best pricing for the products
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene
- Collaborate with the Event team for special events, ensuring exceptional Food and Beverage quality and service delivery
- Monitor Food and Beverage preparation techniques to maintain quality and presentation standards
- Ensure the staffing in Food and Beverage Department is adequate based on the business needs
- Hiring the right talent into the team
- Conduct regular performance evaluations for Food and Beverage colleagues and implement training programs as needed
- Championing coaching, mentoring with proper recording keeping
- Process disciplinary action with proper recording keeping
- Process accurate Payroll every other week with assistance of Office Manager
- Maintain effective communication with all other departments to maximize the club performance
- Performing any task and project assigned by General Manager and Ownership
Skills
- Extensive experience in the culinary field, including fine dining and restaurant management
- Strong leadership abilities with a focus on team management and development
- Proficient in menu planning, food handling, and food safety practices
- Experience in catering services and banquet operations is highly desirable
- Solid understanding of inventory management and cost control strategies
- Excellent cooking skills with a creative approach to food preparation
- Knowledge of hospitality standards within the food industry
- Ability to manage shifts effectively while maintaining high service standards
- Strong communication skills to coordinate among Frood and Beverage colleagues and other departments
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $80,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
