Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Child Care Director to lead our child care program. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the facility, ensuring a safe, nurturing, and educational environment for children. This role requires strong leadership skills, a commitment to early childhood education, and the ability to work collaboratively with staff, parents, and the community.
Duties
- Develop and implement educational programs that meet the needs of children and align with state regulations.
- Supervise and support teaching staff in their professional development and classroom management.
- Foster positive relationships with parents and guardians through regular communication and engagement.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and licensing regulations.
- Manage budgets, resources, and staffing to maintain high-quality care and education.
- Conduct regular assessments of children's progress and program effectiveness.
- Organize community outreach initiatives to promote the child care center.
Experience
- A degree in Education Administration or a related field is preferred.
- Proven experience working with students in an educational setting.
- Background in higher education teaching is a plus.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Excellent communication skills to engage with staff, parents, and children.
