Currently seeking a dedicated restaurant culinary professional who seeks to work in a creative culinary minded environment. We believe that attention is in the details. We are looking for individuals who enjoy learning, are technically proficient with knife skills, cooking proteins to temp, has a broad knowledge of French & Italian cuisines, time management, cleanliness and organization.
Duties
- Prepare, cook, and plate menu items efficiently while maintaining high standards of quality and presentation
- Follow recipes and menu specifications precisely to ensure consistency in every dish served
- Assist with meal preparation, including chopping, marinating, and assembling ingredients for service
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations in compliance with food safety and sanitation standards
- Support kitchen operations during busy periods, ensuring timely delivery of orders to the dining area
- Handle food safely by practicing proper food handling techniques and adhering to health regulations
- Collaborate with team members to execute menu planning ideas and contribute to a positive kitchen atmosphere
Skills
- Strong background in food preparation, cooking techniques, and food handling within restaurant or culinary settings
- Excellent knife skills and proficiency in meal preparation for various cuisines
- Experience in fine dining environments or catering services enhances your ability to deliver exceptional quality
- Knowledge of food safety protocols and sanitation practices is essential for maintaining a safe kitchen environment
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail
- Effective communication skills for coordinating with team members and serving staff

Our restaurant is a fine dining concept with a constantly changing menu. Team members will have near constant opportunities to learn and develop advanced cooking methods while working with world-class ingredients. Applicants will be expected to assist in the development of new menu items while working under Chef David Carrier.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 32 – 45 per week
Work Location: In person
