We are looking for a Part-Time Patient Care Coordinator to join our growing practice.
About the Role
This position plays a key role in creating an exceptional patient experience while supporting front office operations, surgery scheduling, and administrative functions.
The ideal candidate is friendly, organized, detail-oriented, adaptable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced setting while maintaining a high level of professionalism and takes pride in delivering outstanding patient service.
Key Responsibilities
Front Desk & Patient Support
- Answer incoming phone calls
- Schedule appointments and procedures
- Check patients in and out
- Collect patient payments
- Respond to new patient inquiries and leads
- Monitor patient flow throughout the day
Surgery & Insurance Coordination
- Verify insurance benefits
- Obtain prior authorizations
- Prepare and communicate procedure cost estimates
- Coordinate surgery scheduling
- Assist with general medical scheduling
Administrative Support
- Scan and file documents
- Process records requests
- Handle faxing and general office correspondence
- Maintain organized workspaces and common areas
Patient Experience & Marketing Support
- Request patient reviews and testimonials
- Send appointment reminders and follow-up communications
- Assist with promotions, specials, and marketing initiatives
- Support efforts to enhance the overall patient experience
Qualifications
- Previous medical office, healthcare, customer service, or administrative experience preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
- Comfortable using computers, scheduling systems, and office software
- Professional appearance and demeanor
- Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset
