About Cattlytics
Cattlytics is an innovative cattle and ranch management SaaS platform helping livestock operators streamline records and optimize workflows. We offer subscription-based SaaS for ranch owners as well as custom enterprise/white-labeled solutions for agribusinesses. As we expand our footprint in the US, we are looking for a founding Sales Lead to own customer acquisition, validate our go-to-market approach, and build a repeatable sales playbook.
Role Overview
As our Founding Sales & Customer Acquisition Lead, you will identify, engage, and convert prospective customers across the US cattle and ranching market. This is a hybrid role combining hands-on outbound sales with strategic customer discovery. You will work closely with product and marketing teams to refine our US playbook and drive both SaaS subscriptions and enterprise contracts.
Key Responsibilities
- Outbound Lead Generation: Identify and engage ranch owners, feedlot operators, and agribusinesses via phone, email, LinkedIn, and industry networks.
- Full-Cycle Sales Management: Lead prospects from initial discovery and tailored product demos to proposal, negotiation, and contract closure.
- Go-to-Market Strategy: Document customer feedback, objections, and buying behavior to build and refine our US sales playbook.
- Partnership Development: Explore opportunities with livestock consultants, veterinarians, cattle associations, and tech providers (e.g., RFID/EID).
- CRM & Reporting: Maintain clean data in the CRM, tracking pipeline metrics, conversion rates, and market insights to report to leadership.
Required Qualifications
- Experience: 5+ years of B2B SaaS, AgTech, or Agribusiness sales experience.
- Market Knowledge: Proven track record selling to US-based customers (ideally in agriculture, rural businesses, or SMB markets).
- Sales Skills: Strong consultative selling, remote relationship-building, and negotiation skills.
- Tools: Proficiency with modern CRM platforms and sales enablement software.
- Flexibility: Must be willing to work US business hours to align with ranch owners and stakeholders.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Agriculture, Marketing, or a related field (preferred).
