About the Position
Sunland RV Resorts is seeking a friendly, hardworking, and self-motivated team member to join our General Maintenance Department. The ideal candidate will take pride in maintaining beautiful, facilities, resort grounds and guest amenities while ensuring an exceptional experience for all visitors.
· Requirement: Must have a valid driver’s license. We use onsite vehicles.
Primary Responsibilities
· General Maintenance
· Perform light building repairs, painting, power washing, and minor electrical work (training provided).
· Support facilities upkeep as directed by the supervisor or Resort Director.
· Pool Maintenance
· Clean, vacuum, and skim pools; test and adjust water chemistry.
· Maintain pool decks and equipment (training available if needed).
· Landscape & Grounds Care
· Mow, trim, weed, and edge lawns and landscaped areas.
· Apply fertilizers and seed; perform seasonal planting and watering.
· Maintain and repair PVC sprinkler systems.
· Remove trash and debris to maintain a clean resort environment.
· Operate light power equipment such as lawn mowers, hedge trimmers, and blowers.
· Janitorial & General Labor
· Assist with restroom cleaning when staff shortages occur.
· Support resort events and special projects, including setup and teardown.
Preferred Qualifications
· Prior experience in general maintenance or landscaping.
· Ability to operate small power tools and lawn equipment.
· Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
· Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred; English communication required.
· Ability to lift and carry heavy equipment as needed.
