Job Description: As a Physical Therapist Assistant, you will work closely with our team of experienced physical therapists to provide rehabilitation services to patients. Your responsibilities will include:
- Assisting in the implementation of individualized treatment programs as planned by the physical therapist.
- Providing therapeutic exercises and manual therapy techniques to patients under the supervision of a licensed physical therapist.
- Monitoring patients' progress and reporting back to the physical therapist.
- Collaborate with other healthcare providers in a multidisciplinary setting.
- Educating patients and their families about the treatment plan and home exercises.
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date patient records.
Requirements:
- Associate's degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
- State licensure or certification as a Physical Therapist Assistant.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work well in a team environment.
- Compassionate and patient-focused approach to care.
- Previous experience in a clinical setting is preferred but not required.
