Madison Settlement Services is looking to hire an experienced full-time experienced Post Closer! The Post Closer is responsible for preparing Refinance closing documents for signing at the closing table.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Open new orders
- Request/Prepare Deeds, POAs, Trust Certs, Affidavits and handle pre-closing signings
- Obtain legal documents (ie. Trust, Divorce Decree) for vesting/signer issues and send to Title Examination Department for review
- Updates commitments, CPLs, tax certs, etc and sends them to the client/lender
- Prepares title docs, including affidavits and additional documents prepared at closing
- Handles loan revisions and update requests
- Collaborates with lender for balancing of Closing Disclosure

Schedules closings with signing company

Any additional tasks needed to prepare for closing

Main point of contact for Mortgage Broker and/or Lender for any needs or requests.

Education: High School diploma or equivalent required
Experience: Previous title processing experience required (1-3 years)
Computer Skills: Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or similar software with the ability to learn new or updated software.
