BASIC FUNCTION OF EDUCATION AIDE:
Assist the Teacher and Assistant Teacher in providing a safe learning environment and implementing planned classroom activities to provide an educationally sound experience, which meets the individual needs of the children.
RESPONSIBILITIES OF EDUCATION AIDE:

Assist Teacher or Assistant Teacher in planning activities

Carries out educational activities supporting individual children’s learning outcomes

Supervises designated groups of children

Maintains a clean, safe and orderly physical environment

Reports any health or behavioral problems to the Teacher

Supports parent involvement and engagement throughout ECD
-
Fulfills Mandated Reporter responsibilities
-
Other related duties as assigned
Requirements:
REQUIREMENTS OF EDUCATION AIDE:

H.S. or G.E.D. required
-
Credits in ECE preferred
-
2 yrs related experience in an early childhood program desired
