We are seeking a Special Education Teacher to support students with disabilities in an Anoka-Hennepin school setting. The teacher will provide specialized instruction, develop and implement IEP goals, collaborate with general education staff and related-service providers, and create a positive, inclusive learning environment.
Responsibilities:
- Provide individualized and small-group instruction to students with special needs.
- Develop, implement, and monitor IEP goals and student progress.
- Adapt curriculum and instruction based on individual student needs.
- Collaborate with general education teachers, families, and related-service providers.
- Maintain accurate student records and required documentation.
- Support positive classroom behavior and student engagement.
- Participate in IEP meetings and other school team meetings.
- Follow district policies, procedures, and Special Education requirements.
Requirements:
- Valid Minnesota Tier 3 or Tier 4 Special Education Teaching License.
- Appropriate Special Education licensure for the position.
- Previous school-based Special Education experience preferred.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Pay: $45.00 - $50.00 per hour
