We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Manager to lead our retail team and oversee daily operations. Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise retail staff to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and operational excellence
- Oversee employee orientation, training, and ongoing development to foster a motivated and skilled team
- Manage inventory control, stock replenishment, and merchandising to maximize sales opportunities
- Conduct interviewing and recruiting activities to attract top talent for various store positions
- Handle payroll processing, bookkeeping, and cash handling with accuracy and integrity
- Utilize POS systems for sales transactions, pricing adjustments, and sales management
- Coordinate shift management, scheduling, and operational procedures to ensure smooth store functioning
- Implement marketing initiatives and promotional displays to enhance store visibility and sales performance
- Maintain excellent communication with team members through managerial communication practices
- Monitor retail math metrics such as sales targets, gross profit margins, and inventory turnover rates
Skills
- Proven management experience within the retail industry, including supervising teams and managing daily store operations
- Strong negotiation skills with the ability to influence customer decisions and vendor relationships
- Excellent employee orientation skills with a focus on training & development programs
- Bilingual or multilingual abilities are highly desirable for effective communication with diverse customer bases
- Proficiency in recruiting, interviewing, and onboarding new employees
- Experience with payroll processing, bookkeeping, inventory management, POS systems, and cash handling
- Knowledge of retail math principles including pricing strategies, sales analysis, and budgeting
- Effective leadership qualities with superior managerial communication skills and organizational abilities
- Familiarity with operational management tasks such as merchandising, stocking, marketing, and inventory control
- Ability to manage shift schedules efficiently while maintaining high standards of customer service
