Inpatient Daytime Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner Opportunity – Port St. Lucie Area, Florida
An established and growing private Hematology/Oncology practice is seeking an experienced Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner for a daytime inpatient position in the Port St. Lucie area of Florida’s Treasure Coast.
The practice includes several Board-Certified Hematologists/Oncologists and a collaborative team of highly trained advanced practice providers dedicated to delivering high-quality, compassionate cancer care.
The Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner will round on hospitalized Hematology/Oncology patients at multiple area hospitals while working closely with the practice’s physicians and clinical team.
Schedule
- Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
- No evenings
- No weekends
- No call responsibilities
- Physician backup and support available as needed
Patient volume varies based on hospital admissions. The daily census may occasionally be as low as one patient and can reach approximately 15 patients on busier days, although higher volumes are uncommon.
Qualifications
- Licensed or eligible for licensure as a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner in Florida
- At least 1–2 years of post-graduate clinical experience
- Hematology/Oncology experience preferred
- Candidates with strong Internal Medicine experience will also be considered
Compensation and Benefits
- $125,000–$140,000 annual salary
