About the Role
Integrated Pain Solutions is seeking a highly organized, proactive Medical Assistant / Front Desk Associate to join our growing pain management practice. This is a hybrid clinical and administrative role ideal for someone who enjoys both patient care and front office operations.
The ideal candidate is personable, dependable, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced medical office. You should be approachable yet professional, able to multitask effectively, and committed to creating an outstanding patient experience while helping keep the practice running smoothly.
Key Responsibilities
Clinical
- Assist physicians with patient care and clinical procedures
- Prepare examination rooms before patient visits
- Perform phlebotomy (training and experience strongly preferred)
- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation
- Ensure exam rooms and clinical areas remain clean, organized, and stocked
- Monitor medical supplies and coordinate inventory as needed
Front Desk & Administrative
- Welcome patients and provide exceptional customer service during check-in and check-out
- Schedule appointments, manage cancellations, and coordinate rescheduling
- Process billing and patient payments and insurance billing
- Answer phones and respond to patient questions professionally
- Maintain organized records while ensuring HIPAA compliance
- Help resolve day-to-day patient concerns and operational challenges
- Serve as a resource for staff questions and assist with maintaining efficient office operations
- Support patient satisfaction by addressing feedback professionally
- Coordinate with vendors and assist with general office organization

Qualifications
- 1+ year of experience in a healthcare, medical office, customer service, or administrative setting (medical practice or med spa preferred)
- Experience or training in medical assisting and patient care
- Phlebotomy experience is strongly preferred
- Knowledge of medical terminology
- Experience maintaining medical records
- Certification as a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) is a plus but not required
- Bachelor's degree preferred but not required
Schedule & Benefits
- Full-time, on-site
- Monday-Thursday (4-day work week, with occasional Fridays as needed)
- Starting at $22/hour, with higher compensation based on experience
- 3-month probationary period
- Health insurance (50% employer-paid coinsurance)
- 5 days of PTO during the first year
- 10 days of PTO beginning the second year
