POSITION SUMMARY:
Responsible for reading, installation, maintenance and repair of water meters and related equipment. Collects
meter data for billing, completes service connections and disconnections, and maintains assigned meter
department vehicles, tools and equipment to support water utility operations.
DESIRED MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS:

Valid New Mexico Driver’s License with acceptable driving record.

High School Diploma or GED Certificate

NM Level I Water Certifications within eighteen (18) months of hire.

One (1) year of experience in water meter service or plumbing repair.
