- Welcome and engage guests, including business travelers, convention attendees, and leisure guests
- Provide menu guidance and beverage recommendations
- Enter orders accurately and coordinate with kitchen/bar teams
- Serve food and drinks according to brand standards
- Process payments, room charges, and handle cash responsibly
- Take food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently
- Guide guests through the menu, offering recommendations and explaining dishes
- Maintain cleanliness of tables, stations, and service areas
- Provide hotel information (amenities, local attractions) when guests ask
- Prior serving experience in a hotel restaurant preferred
- Strong communication and guest-service skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Strong customer service and hospitality mindset
- Excellent communication and ability to read guest cues
- Menu and beverage knowledge (ingredients, allergens, wine basics)
- POS proficiency (Silverware / Symphony / Micros) and basic math for payments
