Job Title: DSP – Residential Program
Zuriel LLC is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Direct Support Professional (DSP) to work with adults with developmental disabilities, behavioral challenges, and mental health needs. This role requires staff to ensure the home is safe, supportive, and empowered for the individuals we serve.
1. Support residents with daily living skills, personal care, and community engagement to encourage independence.
2. Monitor and address residents’ physical, emotional, and behavioral needs, making proactive adjustments to support plans.
3. Maintain a structured, safe, and respectful environment that promotes dignity and positive behavior.
4. Manage documentation, medical records, and compliance with regulatory and company standards.
5. Collaborate with families, case managers, and external providers to ensure continuity of care.
Minimum 1 year experience working as a DSP or in a similar care role supporting individuals with I/DD, behavioral needs, or mental health conditions.
Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities.
Reliable, patient, and compassionate demeanor with the resilience to handle behavioral challenges.
Excellent organizational, time management, and communication skills.
High school diploma or equivalent (post-secondary education in human services preferred).
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
Current CPR/First Aid certification.
Ability to meet the physical demands of the role, including assisting with mobility, personal care, and safety interventions when required.
