Flexible Part-Time Plaque Production & Assembly Associate

We are looking for a reliable part-time associate who specifically wants flexible, ongoing part-time work rather than a full-time position. Our production volume varies, so weekly hours will normally range from approximately 10 to 25 hours, with more hours needed during busy periods and fewer during slower periods.
This position may be a particularly good fit for someone seeking supplemental part-time work with flexible weekday hours and who enjoys careful, hands-on production work.
What You Will Do
You will help produce and ship custom plaques and awards, including:
- Assembling wall plaques from wood bases, metal plates, acrylic and other components
- Framing plaques and awards
- Sublimation printing images and text onto metal plates
- Laser engraving acrylic and glass awards
- Inspecting finished products for quality and accuracy
- Packing completed orders for shipment
What We Are Looking For
This is precision work. Applicants should:
- Be careful, detail-oriented and comfortable working with exact measurements
- Have good hand-eye coordination and enjoy hands-on work
- Be able to maintain both accuracy and a reasonable production pace
- Be dependable and able to work independently after training
- Be comfortable learning production equipment and processes
- Be able to stand for much of the workday
Experience with product assembly, manufacturing, woodworking, framing, crafts, printing, engraving, sign production, or similar hands-on work would be helpful, but direct plaque-making experience is not required.
Schedule
Approximately 10–25 hours per week, depending upon production volume.
Our shop is open Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Work hours can be flexible within those times.
