About the Role
The Produce Manager is responsible for planning, directing, and managing the operations and performance of the Produce department. This role leads the team to deliver high-quality, fresh produce while ensuring excellent customer service, effective merchandising, and compliance with Vallarta’s standards for food safety and workplace safety.
What You’ll Do
Leadership & Supervision: Manage department team members, schedules, and evaluations. Enforce company rules, safety practices, and support personal development.
Operations: Plan, organize, and control department activities, order merchandise, control inventory, and review invoices.
Merchandising: Create and maintain merchandising plans, space management, signage, and display quality.
Physical Requirements
Frequent use of hands for simple grasping, power grasping, pushing, pulling, and fine manipulation.
Work near equipment and machinery, with exposure to dust, gas, fumes, and noise.
