The primary objective of this position is to receive and ship parts products transfer parts for repair and/or service by in-house technicians. Secondary objective of this position is to ensure bin accuracy and product integrity.

Receive parts products for service, repairs or customers, unpack, check parts, sort and label, open crates and containers, check in and update logs, sort and place products on transit carts and put away in bin shelves according to predetermined bin sequence and following handheld processes and procedures.

Pick and Ship parts orders and/or Int’l orders. Enter shipments into computer. Look up and compute freight or postal rates, record the weight and cost of each shipment, prepare shipping documents and shipping labels, wrap or package goods for shipping and emailing accounts receivables and CC term orders for release.

Maintain shipping and receiving discrepancy logs updated for process improvement purposes.

Support inventory management processes and assist with counting of physical inventory whenever applicable.

Wear proper safety equipment.
Education and/or Experience:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); three months or more experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience in shipping/receiving; Forklift Certified.
Good communication and time-management skills. Ability to set priorities, meet deadlines and work with minimal supervision effectively in a high pressure environment. Attention to detail with strong problem solving skills. Ability to interpret technical instructions, follow established procedures, keep accurate records. Good computer skills including experience with UPS and FedEx shipping systems, as well as, MS Excel and Word. Ability to lift up to 75 lbs unassisted.
Physical Demands:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to stand; walk; and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. The employee is occasionally required to sit and climb or balance. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to ten pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to fifty pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move more than one hundred pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
