Fire Alarm Technician/Installer
Allcom Electric is seeking a qualified Fire Alarm Technician. Most of the work is large multiunit residential new construction and renovations. Allcom is the largest renovation Contractor in the Western United States. We are looking for an energetic self-motivated technician with good communication, organizational skills, and strong customer service skills.
Duties Include:
- Install, program, and troubleshoot Autocall Fire Alarm systems
- Able to install the proper cabling for the scope of work
- Create and maintain drawings and accurate documentation on installation paperwork for all systems
- Must have ability to solve problems as they arise
- Aptitude to learn new technology and code as it changes

- Silent Knight
- Firelite
Requirements:
- A minimum of 5 years experience with Security and Fire Alarms
- Know how to program Autocall Fire Alarm systems Preferred
- Basic knowledge of construction and electrical wiring
- Knowledge of NFPA 72, CBC, NFPA 70 and local fire codes
- Basic Computer Skills – PC, Networks, Wireless, etc
- Fire Life Safety card is required
- Must have a clean DMV record and pass background check
- High School Diploma
- Pass pre-employment drug screening
