Make a daily impact in local schools as an Instructional Aide, supporting students on an as-needed basis in a flexible, per diem capacity. Key Responsibilities:
- Support students with academic, behavioral, and social tasks in classroom settings
- Provide direct 1:1 or small-group assistance per teacher and school directives
- Assist students with daily classroom routines, transitions, and engagement
- Implement assigned behavior support plans and follow IEPs
- Help with mobility, supervision, and personal care as needed
- Foster a safe, respectful, inclusive learning space for all students
Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED
- Minimum age of 18
- Recent TB test (per school district requirements)
- Able to stand, walk, and assist with lifting as needed
- Willingness to complete and maintain all required clearances
Preferred Experience:
- Previous work in schools, special education, behavioral health, or child care
- Familiarity with supporting students with special needs, autism, or behavioral challenges
- Prior experience with CPI, PMT, or RBT (a plus, not required)
- Demonstrated reliability, patience, and collaboration
