We are seeking a vigilant and dedicated Armed Security Officer to safeguard our premises, personnel, and assets. Responsibilities
- Conduct regular patrols of the facility using surveillance equipment and physical inspections to deter unauthorized access and theft
- Monitor security cameras (CCTV) continuously to identify suspicious activity or security breaches
- Manage access control by verifying identities and authorizing entry for employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors
- Respond promptly and effectively to security incidents or emergencies, including conflicts or disturbances, utilizing conflict management techniques
- Provide first aid and CPR when necessary, ensuring immediate assistance until emergency services arrive
- Collaborate with law enforcement agencies during investigations or incidents requiring legal intervention
- Maintain detailed incident reports, shift logs, and security records accurately and promptly
Requirements
- Proven experience in security roles, law enforcement, military service, or related fields is highly preferred
- Valid certification in CPR and first aid; additional certifications such as CCTV operation or loss prevention are advantageous
- Strong surveillance skills with experience operating CCTV systems and other security technology
- Excellent conflict management abilities with a calm demeanor under pressure
- Knowledge of law enforcement procedures and legal protocols related to security operations
- Ability to stand, walk, and remain alert for extended periods; physically capable of performing patrol duties
- Prior experience in loss prevention or security within high-risk environments is a plus
