Duties
- Prepare and serve breakfast items with precision, ensuring food safety and quality standards are met.
- Set up breakfast stations, including arranging food displays, utensils, and condiments to create an appealing presentation.
- Maintain cleanliness of dining areas, kitchen stations, and food prep surfaces through regular cleaning and sanitizing.
- Assist with food handling, meal preparation, and replenishing buffet or serving stations as needed.
- Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for processing orders and payments efficiently.
- Buss tables promptly to keep the dining area tidy and welcoming for guests.
- Support catering or banquet setups when required, ensuring timely delivery and presentation of breakfast services.
- Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate service flow and guest needs using excellent phone etiquette and guest relations skills.
Skills
- Previous kitchen experience with knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, knife skills, and meat cutting is highly desirable.
- Experience in food service environments such as restaurants, hotels, catering events, or banquet settings.
- Familiarity with POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS for cashiering functions.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to handle guest inquiries professionally and courteously.
- Knowledge of food handling procedures, dietary considerations, and food safety standards to ensure compliance.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills coupled with a friendly demeanor to foster guest relations and teamwork.
