Duties
- Greet customers warmly and assist them in locating products within the store.
- Provide knowledgeable information about products, features, and benefits to enhance the customer experience.
- Process transactions accurately, including cash handling and credit card processing.
- Maintain stock levels by organizing merchandise on shelves and ensuring displays are visually appealing.
- Engage in upselling techniques to maximize sales opportunities while meeting customer needs.
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues in a professional manner.
- Keep the sales floor clean and organized, ensuring that all areas are well-stocked and presentable.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve sales goals and maintain a positive work environment.
Skills
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse customers.
- Basic math skills for handling transactions and managing cash accurately.
- Experience in cash handling procedures is preferred.
- Ability to stock merchandise efficiently while maintaining attention to detail.
- Proficient in retail math concepts to assist with inventory management and sales analysis.
